Build a strong foundation in all four language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Deepen each child's understanding of Chinese or Japanese culture through language study.
Shape culturally sensitive, globally aware, responsible world citizens.

Our approach

Language basics — express needs and wants, speak in complete sentences, ask questions, enjoy rhymes, songs, and riddles, and practice new vocabulary in the target language.
Writing & reading — learn writing fundamentals, use basic words in sentences, apply writing concepts, build oral language and reading vocabulary, and respond to stories and texts with understanding.
Math — develop number sense, use numbers to describe the world, count in sets, and lay the groundwork for addition, subtraction, patterns, and algebra — all in Chinese or Japanese.

1st Grade

Ages 6–7 Chinese/English or Japanese/English

First grade continues the accredited, Common Core path — reading, writing, math, and science — woven together with growing fluency in Chinese or Japanese, taught by the same certified, native-speaking teachers your child already knows.

Kindergarten & 1st Grade tuition

Monthly tuition for the full-day program.

Registration & other fees

Registration fee & deposit — $200 per child (Preschool and Kindergarten & 1st Grade only). A $100 non-refundable registration fee plus a $100 deposit that holds your child's spot and is applied toward the first month's tuition. Due when the Enrollment Application Form is signed. The deposit is refundable if enrollment is cancelled.
Material fee — $10 per month or $100 per school year (Preschool and Kindergarten & 1st Grade only). Covers textbooks and art supplies.
Extended care — $18 per hour with a one-hour minimum. For After-School, supervised care and free play are available before or after language classes and on select non-class days; language-class enrollment is not required. For Preschool, Kindergarten & 1st Grade, and Summer Camp, extended care is available after 5:30 p.m. Care is available until 6:00 p.m.; Saturday School offers no extended care.
Optional lunch — $5.50 per lunch or $110 per month. https://greensproutsfood.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/September-Offline-Menu-1.pdf A prepared lunch for children who'd prefer not to bring their own — available to Preschool, Kindergarten & 1st Grade, and Summer Camp students.
Late pickup — $50 if a child is not picked up by 6:00 p.m. For Saturday School, the fee applies after the end of class.
Sibling discount — 10% for Preschool, Kindergarten & 1st Grade, After-School, and Saturday School.
